Event Details
GriefShare is a grief support group for those grieving the death of a loved one. It offers a faith-based approach to healing and hope in the midst of grief.
The series is 13 weekly sessions on TUESDAYs (exception is the 4th of July – start date of July 5, 2023) including a video portion featuring grief experts and people who have or are grieving a death, followed by discussion of the week’s topics and issues. Everyone has an opportunity to share, cry, laugh, ache, struggle, and grow in a supportive, safe environment. People are encouraged but not expected to share what is on their heart and mind as they grieve.
Helpful tips, suggestions, scripture, and encouragement are offered to help bring healing and hope through hard work and the grace of God.
The series is designed so you can join at any time. Many people repeat the sessions two or three times. We have helped grief survivors of various disease, accidents, overdose, alcohol, suicide, drowning, gunfire – death of children, spouses, parents, siblings, other relatives and close friends.
You can register online at the GS site or on site, please contact Kurt.
Cost is $20 for the workbook.
